Can anyone tell me how many Body
Mount Bushings are required for
a 1967 SS396 Coupe? :rolleyes:

i believe there is 12 not counting the 2 for the radiator support

Twelve? That's odd. Then why do the body bushing kits that are sold by the resto companies have only 10 bushings? :confused:

My 66 coupe has 10 (not counting the radiator support): 2 between doors and front fenders, 2 at the end of the doors, 2 near the top of the rear springs, 2 just behind the rear wheels and 2 at the end of the fuel tank.

Convertibles have 2 more just before the rear wheels.

In my case the 2 old bushings at the end of the door were of a lower shape than all of the others, including the new ones. I had to adjust them.
