70 El Camino SS: 396+.030 bored with a TH400 tranny, CompCam, Edelbrock Racing Manifold, Hooker Compitition "Shorty" Headers all going to a 2 1/2" Flowmaster exhaust system. I LOVE IT! :D

70 SS Black with working flapper hood :D now a 468 with Brodix BB-1 heads, Ross Pistons, UD F288/296, RR's, Comp Push rods, ARP studs and bolts, RPM Intake, 850 DP Demon, Holley Pump, MSD ignition system, Jet coated 2" headers, Gear reduction starter. Transgo'd TH-350, ATI, 3:23 gears, Moser Axles, Hotchkis suspension, 17x8-17X9.5 Torque thrust II's.

Was a 402 SS NOW .030 over Gen VI 454 w/ZZ502 roller cam,049 polished heads 2.19/1.88 valve,alum.water pump,Edel.RPM intake and 750 carb,with Dynomax ceramic coat headers into Flowmaster kit exhuast 2.5".Just ahead of a 700r4,with 3.42 gears... :D With FRESH PPG Sunste orange paint.Hope to have it at CB04,Yea Buddy... ;)

Last year this time....worn out 350 :(
Now....60 over 454 graemlins/hurray.gif

Never had a big block before. Difference is like night and day. I'm sorry....I've gone over to the dark side.

'68 SS-396 El Camino - original L35 396 with some mild mods.

'72 SS-454 El Camino - original LS5 454 with some mild (stock-appearing) mods.

'71 GMC Sprint "400" - original LS3 402 with a 454 crank and special rods (stock-appearing 434 big-block).

'71 GMC Sprint SP-454 - original LS5 454 with only stock-appearing mods (hydraulic roller cam & valve train).

That's good for four of these:
