I currently have my 68 convertible top frame broken down and blasted for paint. I have been in touch with several part suppliers looking for a shim, bushing, and bolt kit for the roof when I reassemble it after paint and haven't had any luck. Has anyone had any luck finding a supplier? I could probably get away with using the old ones but after 37 years and the price of a new top spending a few dollars on a few shims and plastic bushings is not an issue. Can you still get them from GM? Also if anyone can find a referance of an exploded diagram of the roof with part numbers for the various pieces it would be greatly appreciated. (I have the factory assembly manual and the fisher body manual they are not in there)

I have a chevrolet chassis and body parts catalog on cd I bought from this guy
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34214&item=7954485152&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW section 14 shows the exploded view and gives all the bushing p/n. I would send it to you but section 14 is about 32mb.

I will try to get a copy of the cd rom, chances are the seller may have more. In the meantime can you give me the part numbers of the two plastic bushings and the four nuts (two on each side) and the back shims. Is there any chance you could mail me a copy of the the exploded view of the roof or post it here so I can print it?
