I bought a 70 chevelle and it has both fenders with out the parking lights. The paint job is nice...can a body shop just cut rhe holes in the fenders and install the lights??? thanks for your help

If you mean the lights in the lower fender, then your car probably has 71 or 72 fenders on it.These two years dont have the lower lights.I guess you could cut them out but it wouldn't look %100 correct because the openings have kind of a step around them.Hard to explain but if you see a pic youd understand. If you dont care about that you could probably cut the holes out.You may have to do some fabricating to mount them though.

I don't think it'll work, there's more than holes there for them, it's kind of like a stamping, just like 70 is fine was talking about. I don't think they mount up the same either, I've heard people say the 71 headlight bezels where they mount are different from a 1970.

The mounting for the headlight extensions is different. You could drill out the spotwelds and swap the inner bracket where the headlight ext. mounts, some people just carve them up until it fits.
