What is best used to clean a convertible top? I just picked up a beautiful '64 SS convertible with a white top. The top is new, but has a few dirt marks on it already. I didn't want to use anything that would stain.

If that doesn't work, try some Fantastik or Formula 409 or something. Some people have used Westley's Bleche-White (whitewall tire cleaner) but you will want to keep that off of your paint as much as possible. Do small sections at a time and rinse off quickly, before it dries.

I was told to use mild soap & water.
I was also told NOT to use Gloss products like, Son Of A Gun & Armor All.

A week before CB04, I used some soft scrub, it took out a couple of marks on my white top that nothing else would remove.

Hope this helps! graemlins/thumbsup.gif
