Has anybody replaced the pillar post weatherstrip?
I recently ordered them from Steele rubber products but they did not work. The channel in the weatherstrip, which accepts the front edge of the door glass is to shallow. The door would not close with the new weather strips in.Any ideas?

I just replaced the pillar post weatherstrip on my 71 ragtop. I purchased my weatherstrip from NPD. The part number for 69-72 pillar post weatherstrip is: C-14060-109A. I installed mine and had no problems with fit and they look great!!!

I would only but Metro weatherstripping if possible. I have thier pillar posts and they are great. I don't think I have a channel for the front edge of the glass, it's pretty flat, maybe your old ones are worn with a groove and you may need to pop off the door panel and adjust the glass.
