I have a 71 convertible that I bought in parts. I am wondering about the "convertible water gutter" My car does not have one. Where and how does it mount. Does anyone know where I can get one?

You can get one from most of the repro companies. I'd have to look but I believe it just screws on.

I got an extra from a convertible parts car. Your trunk will fill up with water if you don't have one. It just attaches with some screws.

Should a 64 convertible have a water gutter. If so where do I look?

Gentlemen: I am not sure what this item is but I do get water in the trunk of my convertible that I purhased a year ago. I don't know what somebody else may have done or not done to it. Could somebody please give me a little description of what it is or where it goes. Thanks R. B.

There is an actual "gutter" that runs across the inside of where the metal starts before the trunk. Right where the top bag is mounted. It is about an inch to an inchand a half wide and the same deep and runs from one wheel well up across where the bottom rear of top is mounted, right to the other wheel well. and channels the water out. http://www.mikedonovan.com/brian/example.jpg

Thanks Brian, I will take a closer look now that I know what I am looking for. The picture was very helpful. It would be nice if I can get this pesky leak fixed in time to save the floor of my trunk.
