I have a larger gap over the tops of the drivers side windows than over the passenger side windows (both windows / doors are adjusted the same). The frame has not been adjusted since the top was installed.
I am considering adjusting the top frame to lower the one side to reduce wind noise.
How simple is this to do? Will I just have to adjust the frame on that side down and then tighten the top material on that side by loosening the clamp bar, pulling the material down, and re-tightening?
Has anybody done this or had any experience / advice?

Not much you can do to lower the top frame heighth to the door glass without creating a dip where it hinges right above. Why not adjust the window stops higher in the doors? I have simular issues with glass sealing properly on my 65 rag as well. Still working on it.

If the frame isn't level at the hinge point above the windows (slighly 'peaking') there is a bolt on the inside of the frame at that hinge that you can screw in to flatten it out. If it's flat at the hinge and up at the back then you have to lower the top at the back.

I already have the windows adjusted all the way up. The windows just seem to fit up into the rubber seal more on the passenger side than the driver's side. The frame above the windows seems to be fairly horizontal and flat.
I guess there is more of a gap at the back than the front, since the front is pulled down by the latch. I would like to try to adjust it down a bit to see if it fits more evenly.
Does anybody know if adjusting it down would require re-setting the top material in the back "clamp" bar keep it fitting tight?

If you have your windows adjusted all the way up and still have a gap, then somethin' ain't right :(
There are a whole lot of adjustments you can make with the top. It sounds to me like your entire top frame is up too high. If you lower the whole thing, you may not need to worry about the fabric moving on the frame. Your best bet is to get the Factory manuals (probably the Fisher Body manual in this case) and check what they say or show for adjustments.
