On the interior side of the front header bow there is a fabric trim piece that covers the rear edge of the bow. I presume it's designed to soften the edge for the top that rests directly above it. Question: does anyone know where to buy a replacement, or maybe found something that "does the job"? Mine is hopelessly rotten. Thanks all!

I went to my local paint supply house and they had several sizes to cover "pinch weld" areas. The one I picked fits perfect and has sort of a grained affect on the surface. Its plastic and 'slides' over the edge and grips.
Go to any trim shop and ask for "snap on windlace" or "trim Lok" they'll know what you're asking for. Originally, yours may have been covered in black fabric. This may be available through the shops, but more than likely it'll be the grained vinyl type.

I used windlace. The same used around the door jambs. Works great.
