Has anyone seen or heard of a 70 SS 350? A friend says he remembers see one years ago,his story is that the original owner ordered it with the LT1 from the factory.

71-72 offered an SS 350 Chevelle.

There were a bunch of 70 350-300HP cars that had 12 bolt rears and 4 speeds. Some were even ordered with the U14 round gauge dash like the SS had. No SS emblems on these cars.

You could not get a small block in an SS from 66-70. None of these cars were Heavy Chevys since that was not available until 1971 therefore could not be had on a 70. Plenty of Malibus were ordered with the 350/300, 4 speeds were an option as well as a 12 bolt on all Malibus. You could also order the U14 instrumentation package on a Malibu.
