Jeff, I can assure you that I will be asking questions. Leaving to pick up the car in 4 hours. Car is in Ga and I am in NJ. I'll be back on Fri..pictures and a story by Monday.

Well, I'm back..tired and road beaten...but I have my COPO!!!!I'l post some pics after a little much needed sleep. care is super solid but a little neglected...nothing I can not fix or have parts for..I'm really stoked! :D

I was looking at an old magazine from 1993 and seen your COPO in there. I didnt realize that Central Chevy sold 20 COPO chevelles!!!!

I've seen that article on Pete's yellow COPO from 1993. Funny, all those pictures were taken on Brock Road in Freelton, where I used to drive once a week to visit my Chevelle when it was doing time on a friend's farm.
It's astonishing to see how many COPO Chevelles were sold in Canada in '69. I can account for 8 or 9; it really seems like Central Chev-Olds had somebody 'in the loop' as far as the good hardware. I had visited that dealership around 1975, but using the COPO procedure to build a high performance car just wasn't in the cards by that time.
I just received my Musclecar Enthusiast issue with the COPO Chevelle today. Interesting reading.
