Working on a 72 350 Rochester 4bbl. I can't seem to see where to hook the return spring to the linkage. I see the other end goes in the little hole in the throttle cable bracket. I don't see any holes or tabs on the linkage to hook it to. Can you help?

Some of them hook on to the thermostat housing. Check and see if there is an extension off the housing with a small hole in it.

The 72 4 barrel (L48) uses a throttle bracket with a small arm that the spring goes through. The spring goes to a hole in the carb linkage almost in front of that.
