Am I doing something wrong in the way I'm installing the decals? Let me say first that I have clean painted areas. I've had air cleaner decals start peeling after a few months. I've had trunk jack and glove compartment decals start wringling up after a few months. These are the standard after market decals that are offered by all the parts dealers. Are the decals just made poorly or is it operator problems?

Paul, I have had the same problem with stickers. I really think it depends on what "Born on Date" they are http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif
Some either wrinkle or peel in no time and some have stayed on just fine.
I have replaced the air cleaner decals twice in 2 years. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/rolleyes.gif

I had the same problem. I just kept buying from different dealers until I got one that would stay. How's the convertible comming along? I'm going on the Power Tour this weekend to KC and St. Louis.

I've heard of people using clear finger nail polish around the edge of the sticker to help hold it down.

I would maybe try just a touch somewhere inconspicuis to see how it looks and works first. Cal
