I ran across this ebay auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4501336921&category=6755) that claims to be a console from a 69 Chevelle. I am far from an expert but have owned a 69 for 17 years and have never heard of or seen an in console tach in a 69.
Thoughts?

Doesn't look like a 68 - 72 Chevelle console. It might be a console from another A body of that vintage, like a Cutlass or Lemans.

65 impala SS console, maybe 66 too.. there will be an "SS" emblem in the small circle above the clock opening. I have one I was going to put in a chevelle.

Might be a '65 Impala SS console but definitely not a '66 big car unit. Regardless of what it's from I don't think the tach is correct.

Definitely 65 Impala SS, with a tach swapped in where the factory clock was originally.
