Can someone post a pic of a stock bb radiator fan shroud on there 69 chevelle?

Here's a couple of pics of mine Adam. I assume it is correct, but don't really know for sure. Hope they help.

Don; I believe that's the small block shroud.The shroud should extend from tank to tank,covering the entire core,for optimal efficiency.I had pics of my(sold car graemlins/sad.gif ) '68,which is similiar,but they are locked(read stuck graemlins/angry.gif )in my old computer.Hope this helps. Steve

That's whatI thought,it was a SB shroud.I'd like to have the BB one in there.Check my sig pics now ;)

The 69 year big block shroud did not cover the entire radiator. Don, your pics look correct.
If you want to have your fan shroud cover the entire radiator on a 69, you will have to adapt a shroud for a 68 which did cover the entire radiator. I never have heard a good reason why they did that in 69.

Agree Gaz. After my previous post I looked at pictures of other cars I have on file and they all seemed to be the same. No big deal one way or the other. Thanks.

I stand corrected! Saw a pic and a '69 BB car at the local cruise last night.I guess I'm a little partial to the rectangular taillights versus those trapezoids ;) :D . Steve
