: fender mr. fuzzy Mar 17th, 01, 6:31 PM i am in the process of restoring my 70 ss.i am just finishing up installing 2 goodmark quarters. i will be needing 1 fender. i was wondering who makes the best fitting one before i go out and purchase one. the quarters fit pretty good, i hope to have the same luck with the fender.thanks, mr fuzzy ------------------ Jimmy P Mar 18th, 01, 1:14 PM Goodmark is the only ones who MAKES them, no matter who sells them. They're OK, but may need some work to them fit. Depends on how picky you are about fit & finish I guess. Some people are happy with as is, others spend hours making them fit correctly. If there is any chance of repairing your original, do it. Or, try to get a good used one. The N.O.S. GM fenders that are left out there are the bottom of the barrel.
