What is the largest size of tires and rims that will fit under a 72 Chevelle with new springs but otherwise stock suspension? Thanks in advance!

If you do a search in the Wheels and tires forum, you will find all kinds of answers for different size wheels and tires.

What I'm trying to tell you is you need to be more specific. Some guys want 20 inch wheels, some won't run anything but 15 inch wheels.

It seems a commonly held belief, that 15"x10" with 5.5" backspacing, is the largest 15" wheel, and I'm not sure what the largest tire that will fit is, but I'm pretty sure that 295-60-15s will fit.
