What parts are necessary and available to change my old linkage to rod throttle cable?

I know Locar has the parts to do this. I have been thinking of doing this on my 66.

If your talking about changing the rod to a cable then Lokar is the place to go as stated.A 68 Camaro throtle pedal assembly from Lokar will bolt right in the same holes as the stock linkage on the firewall.
Pedal #Bag-6096
Cable Bracketand spring for Holley #Srk-4000
Universal throtle cable #1000U36

Hope that helps!

Mark I used a Lokar setup on my 67 when I converted to fuel injection. Essentially the same for a 68 Camaro but without the cable/bracket for a Holley; used a bracket for late model GM FI.

Dale, I have heard that the feedback on the bottom of your foot is different and doesnt seem to feel as responsive so to speak. Like the linkage feels better then a cable.

Whats your opinion on this? Im just not sure how to describe it. I read this in a post on TC a while back.

Chris.

Jerry, I just did the conversion on my '67 so that I could install a Stealth Ram. I paid $5 for the piece that bolts to the firewall with a pedal from a '76 Nova. The bracket/pivot ends up being dimensionally the same (but plastic). So you really just need a pedal and the E or C clip from a thrid gen Nova. I've heard they are the same for 68-72 as well. But I guarantee the setup from a '76 will work. I'll get pictures up as soon as I can.
