Iam looking for a 70 ss 454 ,I found one that caught my eye at this site http://www.classicmusclecars.com/cgi-bin/swrm/det.cgi?id=27142364&bl=m-;;k-chevelle;;nhs-;;status-Available;;sb-

What do you think would be a fair price for this car and what do you think this car could do 0-60 in, iam not savy when it comes to mechanics so any help would vey much be appreciated.

Thanks BudW

Looks really nice. Like he said no build sheet but its not $100k either. So its most certainly a clone and probably in the $35 to $40k range if its rust free, as for 0-60, depends on who is driving and tires and and and..... Will it outrun a new Vette? No, but its way cooler.

Hi Bud, welcome to Team Chevelle graemlins/thumbsup.gif

This appears to be a well restored automobile and the colors are "right up my alley" :D . I am not the ultimate "numbers" freak so I don't get hung up too much on that stuff. However, numbers and documentation (or lack thereof) all relate to value.

If I was looking for a sharp 1970 SS454 and didn't care about documentation or future value I would have no problem buying this one for $40K and just having some fun with it. If part of that fun means 0-60 blasts then I would expect to do that possibly in the 5-6 second range.

Pretty color combination. More money than I have to spend but it appears to be pretty nice.

Whats the deal with the wheels on it?

Car looks nice. If it really does have the factory 6500 redline tach and correct engine could be a score. Would like to see some more pics and have a little more info though.
Some incorrect details including the SS wheels that appear to have been chromed and are without trim rings.

If its done right, and is rust free,, you would be hard pressed to build the car for that price, the only thing I would have to loose would be the Oldsmobile wheels,,,

I have to agree with my brothers here... Last I checked.. they are no longer making these cars ;) and this one is purty sharp.. for me, all I would need to seal the deal is underbelly shots.. if it is done clean under there.. I'd say $40K to $43k is in line.. QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY.... is what I look for..if the numbers are right....BONUS! graemlins/thumbsup.gif
