I have a 69 chevelle and I was putting on my bumper filler and now my hood latch doesn't reach it. It's about an inch or so from the center mounting bolt. I attached the other mounting points , but still no go. When I unbolt the latch from the rad support at the bottom I can get it to work but that just leaves an inch gap down there, I wondering if I have the right piece. The part # on the piece is 3696919. It is a GM part. I did toss the old one already so I couldn't match it. I bought it at Carisle this past weekend so I'm kinda stuck with it. Any help would be appreciated !!! Thanks, Don :confused:
