What is the difference in the 1965 regular and custom model elcaminos? Do the customs have another emblem that says that? Also how does the jack mount behind the passenger seat? And what size wheel is correct for these? Thanks for your help and have a great day!

The custom has bright trim on the door window frame, drip rails, windshield pillars, center of the hood and full length along rocker panels. Interior I think it had a chrome plated instrument bezel. The package was similiar to the SS trim level.

They all used the same instrument panel bezel.
All '65 Chevelles and El Caminos used 14 inch steel wheels.

13680 deluxe trim level body. Like Philip says---similar to a SS coupe trim level. 4 Speed has big chromed diecast console. Also a little tach in the center of the panel and a clock on a pedestal on the center top of the dash pad. 14" wheels. I think 7.75x14 tires were an option with 7.35 statndarad, if I remember right. Unfortunately in a moment of stupidity I repalced the bumpre jack with a scissors type screw jack and misplaced the original. The base of the jack is used to secure the spare tire/wheel behind the passenger seat, and I believe the jack was behind the driver seat with a spring securing but don't quote me on that. Nice intereior color matching tire cover for the spare that will get stretched ugly when you try to force it over an 8.25 tire. My $0.02 p.s. I have the owners manual elsewhere and will try to see if the jack info is in it this weekend if still need info.
