Any experience with these?

I'm using one of these starters on my BB. I burned up a Jeg's chrome hi-torque full size starter. I bought it on Ebay for about 85.00 and it's working fine.

Its a natural. Let the gears do the work for less engery.

I bought my mini from a reputable dealer at a car show. I love it! I have a Big Block, and I know I won't have to worry about "Heat Soak" now.

I won't say whether buying off e-bay is a good thing or not, but you might want to consider the difference between that and buying from Jegs or Summit or some other local speed parts dealer.

I bought one of the GM style mini starters off ebay a while back, as have several of my friends, all have worked flawlessly so far.

I bought one from Summit Racing. It was out of the package and they sold it with a few scratches on the chrome but still works fine.

Can't you just go to the local Chevy dealer and buy one of those starters or local parts store? How much are they at the dealer?

Even with shipping ebay is cheaper. Some of the vendors that sell them also offer a warranty. The last one I got came from this vendor
