Was a column auto an option for the SS in '70. I seem to recall that the SS only came in floor shift auto, staple shifter. Comments welcomed.

Bench seat auto would have the column shift. Bucket seats with no console I assume would also, if such a combo was availalbe????????

Std equip....hmmmm...I do seem to recall that. Seems out of place on an SS....

I a the bench and auto column on my 70ss, it is correct and standard. If you go on NADA for a price estamite it says the car is worth 5 percent less.

Yup, bench seat and column shift were standard. I found that hard to believe as well. I had to make the swap on my 72 Elky SS smile.gif
