The previous owner put in an aftermarket tach and I want to hook up the stock tach (if it works) Can't find it on the wiring diagram al carson Apr 17th, 04, 1:20 AM My wiring diagram shows the wire to the coil is/ white to the tachometer to the coil.Hope this helps!!! graemlins/hurray.gif dickf Apr 17th, 04, 12:10 PM its brown and comes out of the wiring harness near the radio power 3 wire feed. you should be able to see it with the dash top off. if you drilled a hole from the coil thru the fire wall that where it would be. BlueSS454 Apr 18th, 04, 8:06 AM The tach lead is brown and comes directly out of the plug that goes on the back of the gauge cluster. It does not go through the fuse block nor is it wrapped in the rest of the harness. chevelless1 Apr 18th, 04, 9:51 PM I found a wire with a grommet on it coming from the top of the dash cluster and it has a grommet on it like it would fit through the firewall, maybe that is it?
