Eventually when i have the time, space and money i am planning a full restoration on a my 68. New sheetmetal to start. My question is where should i start? Entire floor pans, trunk pans, quarters, inners and outers, rear valence and the tail piece are tops on my list but unfortunatley my budget will not allow for this all at once. Is there any order i should follow. Also i want to evetually remove the body from the frame to clean up the frame and paint it. Should i wait til all these panels are replaced before taking off the body or should i do my frame work first, relace the body then do the panel replacement? Thanks in advance

replace the body panels, one side at a time. So that the body does'nt lose it's shape. Then you can lift the body off the frame. Tons of money lots of time. be patient. Found some panels to be a bit thin. Just ordered gm quarters, not that much more expensive then others. Hope its worth it!

Floors, then inners, then outters, then trunk, the trunk-quarter extentions, then 1/4s.
