Just asking whoever can give me info on the difference between a 64 radiator/crown support and a 65. I'd heard the light mounting holes are different, that's all for now...

Philip Mar 2nd, 01, 10:12 AM I have heard that the difference is in the mount area. 65 uses a rubber mount and the 64 is just bolted to the frame. The 64 used only thin metal shims between it anf the frame, whereas the 65 had the rubber bushing (about 1/2" thick). The 64 had access holes for the headlights since it was flatter, the 65 does not. Other than these two items, I think they are the same. Because of the mounting height, the 64 will not interchange to a 65.
