Just asking whoever can give me info on the difference between a 64 radiator/crown support and a 65. I'd heard the light mounting holes are different, that's all for now...

I have heard that the difference is in the mount area. 65 uses a rubber mount and the 64 is just bolted to the frame. Mine had shims under the supprot to do the final aligning, but i have not seen a 65 support.

Philip is correct about the mounting points. The 64 used only thin metal shims between it anf the frame, whereas the 65 had the rubber bushing (about 1/2" thick). The 64 had access holes for the headlights since it was flatter, the 65 does not. Other than these two items, I think they are the same.

Because of the mounting height, the 64 will not interchange to a 65. Also due to the light holes, you cannot use one from a 65 on a 64, the back of the headlights will not clear the support.
