storm Jan 16th, 04, 7:09 PM hey 7o chevelle just bought new springs for the front but they are a little diffrent than the originals they are not tapered and flat at one end like the old ones .on the box it said the springs replaces the original tapered springs and will work. any body experience this before ? will they work? thanks storm Bill Rose Jan 16th, 04, 7:23 PM Replacement springs are not tapered like the originals. They should be marked to show which is the top and which is the bottom.. Install them.
