My car is a 1970 california built SS 396.
Im in the process of running all the lines for fuel and brakes but im kinda stumped on what all lines I should have.
Ive got 1 line running down the right (pass. side) side of the frame which I suspect to be the Fuel line & then ive got 2 lines running down the left (drivers side) side of the frame, which 1 is brakes and the other I think is the Charcoal canister line to the tank.
Ive got got that distribution block thing on the under side of the body. Isnt there supposed to be another line or something? Im confused on it all. Can some one tell me what all lines im supposed to have and where they go?
Also does the Fuel line go through the frame at the front and come out a hole in the engine cross member? or does it stay outside and run around the frame?

A look at a '70 assembly manual--of which reprints are available--will probably get you going on the right track.

I have a 70 SS 454 and the fuel line does run through the frame on the pass. side.
The brake line should come off the master cylinder into the front dist. block and come out of the block with a line going to the front brakes and another for the rear brakes. The rear break line goes into a block on the rear end and 2 lines come out .....one for each rear brake.
The extra line must be for a canister as you indicated.
