My buddy had his rear mounted antenna broken off by a carwash on his '69. He bought a new aftermark one from Southwest Classics in Dallas but didn't check before he left to make sure the antenna cable was long enough. It's only 5 or 6 feet long and he obviously needs a longer one. Can he splice his old one into the new one to make it long enough? TIA
