Hi Folks,
On my 69 Chevelle, with the advise of some of you, I took out my worn passenger window regulator. You were absolutely right, it came out fairly easy. My question after looking at it, and at the used one I found, when you look at the opposite side from where the window crank attaches, it is very clear that what goes out on these is the bushing, or should I say what once was a bushing is pretty much gone. In other words when you activate the crank, the shaft wiggles around in a much larger worn hole. These things are put together with rivets. Has any of you tried to drill out the rivets and re-bush the shaft and then either re-rivet or put it back together with nuts and bolts ? I was just wondering if it was doable.
Thanks in advance, Gaz graemlins/waving.gif
