Does it have to be a 66/67 radio? Or can it be a new radio that looks exactly like the origonal. There is a company that makes the new ones that look like the old ones. I think the name is Custom Audiosound? Why don't you give them a try?

If its a correct '67 am/fm that works, $600 won't touch it. Thats the going rate for a non working one.

I would rather have the Original type radio. I know the price has been up way out of what it should be, The ebay people have Blown it way out of reach..
Does the place that makes them like the old Actually look like the Old Ones.. With the AM FM Slide on the top front???

I think you better add another $400, I've seen them go for $1000 and you don't even see them that often. Check Ebay, They have one up for auction right now and its not going to go cheap either

How about just posting a Wanted Add in the Classifieds here at Team Chevelle instead of posting in the forums graemlins/clonk.gif

I got a card from this guy at Carlilse.

Mike Hagan's
Antique Auto Radio Repair

Phone 547-7145

He can put Modern FM guts into old AM or AM/FM radios.

Seems like a really nice guy, and his stuff looked really good.

He has a stock of many cores, and may have what your looking for.

Try originalcarradios.com they usually have early factory AM/FM radios but they'll be priced in the $500-600 range.
