: Filler cracks

After 6 months of getting my car for paint, all has failed. Everything seem to be in order when I finish the bodywork. So I went ahead and spray it. Now two months afterwards, small cracks in the filler appear. I'm not very happy over this and thought I had done everything just right. My question is, what might have happened that made it crack and what can I do now to fix it?

it could be as above or you did not fully secure the part with welds.. many things can crack filler.. more description of the area would be necessary to identify your possible problems!

You sure you mixed it right? Too much hardener will crack the filler faster then anything else. I hate to say it but Ive had a job or two that all I could do pile on the mud, close to a inch Iam willing to bet, and that has not cracked.

The fix and the only fix in my mind is remove it and start with fresh. You dont replace it you will be wasting your time. I didnt see what area of the country you are in, but as the weather gets hotter you need to use just slightly a little less hardener...Eric
