I understand that the 65 chevelle front bumper and brackets are different then a 64 chevelle. if so will a 65 elcamino bumper and brackets fit on the 65 chevelle? thanks for any info!

I belive that all the 65 front bumper brackets are the same. I have a two sets. One that came with the wagon in a box (labeled 65 chevelle, swap-meet possible purchase) and the originals I took off. They are identical.
Enjoy.

The 64-65's came factory with a bolted cover on the front bed floor. I have seen many guys try to hinge the cover to make a tool compartment. If you look closely in the hole you will see the braces on the floor pan for thr rear seat for the station wagon.
