: Can you fix a drag bag????

Has anyone here been succesful in temporarily fixing a drag bag? I'm going to order a new one, but I need to be able to drive this car tomorrow, and I don't think anyone locally sells these????

Are you talking about air lift bags? If so, your car should ride normally on it's springs.... the way god intended it. Maybe a tire patch kit with the little tube of rubber cement and the small patch would work.... temporarily.

Actually, are you sure its a drag bag and not a bag drag? Ag students at the university here hold an annual ag bag drag. They give a prize to the student who manages to drag in the ugliest bag. graemlins/clonk.gif

I swear in all my years here this topic has gotten more response than any.......and NO help...I should move this to "Bench Racing". You guys are too much. By the way, I missed the car show, and just ordered some new ones, but thanks anyway graemlins/thumbsup.gif

They are refered to as "Drag Bags" in the Jegs catalog, but they are basically air lift bags that are installed inside the rear springs so you can control the spring weight by adding or subtracting air to the bags. They have a slightly different job on my car, they are to keep the rear fenders off of the wide tires I have in the back, only problem is if one is to bust.......well the rear end sits down on the tire.
