what's a bowling ball effect?

I vote for Heavy Chevy stripes.

it's popular on motorcycles, you paint a base, mask off the stripes, paint another base color, then paint the black, cover it with saran wrap with the black still wet, pull it off, andit has areas where the base color shows with different designs. you can manipulate the patterns by removing the plastic in different ways. another word for this kind of paint job is marbalized. i'm trying to think of a color that will stick out with black stripes. the car is going to be silver.

stuck on colorselection

i would think gray or maybe pearl if marble look is what your after. so do you do that tech. like painting with a sea sponge or smooth the saran wrap over surface.

you don't smooth the saran wrap, you just stretch it over the painted surface, you will need help doing this, then you peel it right back off.

Would be a cool effect if you did that as a ghost color. Just a slitely different shade of silver .
