can the inner wheelhouse be replaced when installing a partial lower (rear) quarter?

should the body line be used as a point of the butt weld?

how can you tell if the floor is past the patch repair stage? The floor is solid but is has a LOT of surface rust where drivers and back seat passenger feet would rest. There are small holes in these areas but you can try to drive a sharp punch near the hole and it wont pop through.

if a patch will work for the drivers feet area will the patch go from the factory seam to just in front of the seat mount hump?

I am just starting this entire restification and it already seems overwelming. please help, thanks.

chris,

the inner wheel house can be replaced without cutting the entire quarter off. we did it on my dads 68. we cut the old quarter off about three inches above the lip. it was tight working in there but we were able to get it.

i put full quarters on my 68. this made replacing the inner wheel housings a lot easier. if you have enough rust that you have to replace part of the quarter is just about as easy to put the whole skin on. i doubt if i will put many more of those lips in its just as easy to replace the whole thing and you will have a lot less filler.
