Hi, new guy here. I hope this is the right section to say hello and introduce myself.
My "Chevelle" is a 1967 El Camino 300 series, #'s matching fresh 283 powerglide zero option car. It's pretty rust free living it's whole life here in the Northern California Valley.
I own several other bow tie wearing autos and am a member of the other forums as well. I hope to make good contacts here and offer information from years of hobby restoration.

Welcome to the board!

I've been here for years and still consider myself a newbie. Lots of knowledgeable folks here. Good luck with your projects.

Welcome. You're in California with a '67 283 Powerglide car, so I know you're cool. (Mine's a Malibu.)

Welcome aboard. Also have a 67 Elky (Custom 13680 model). I was wondering, does yours have any type of dash strip? It should be a silver plastic unit if my info is correct.

Chevelles came in 4 flavors in 67, the base 300, the 300 Deluxe, the Malibu, and the SS. The El Camino in only two, the 13380/13480 base El Camino (akin to the 300 Deluxe) and the 13580/13680 Custom El Camino (akin to the Malibu).

I have a lot of '67 information at my Team67 site (see sig block) and would like to ask if it's possible to get a photo of your trim tag for my site? I currently have 10 here (http://www.team67.com/67elky/67_elky_trim_tags.htm) but they're all 13680 Custom models. Not too many folks held on to the base 133/134 series. Do you have any photos hosted anywhere?

ThorSS70, I'm in Carmichael Ca (Sacramento's north east) a 3 hour drive to Turlok's swap meet ;) This is a great site, I have learned that my El Camino is not a 300, now someone will tell me that there is no such thing as a Cal hood, a 327 hemi, or a 12 volt rear end (lol) :D
