Now...first off I wanna say this isn't a classified...but rather a public announcement. On my daily trip to pick up my lunch today I saw a gorgeous 70, totally tricked out El Camino for sale and stopped to look at it. The owner happened to come out and give me the info sheet so here are the specs.

- TH-350
- 12 bolt posi with 4.10 gears

P.S. - I've gotta contribute to this community somehow huh?

P.S. - I've gotta contribute to this community somehow huh? Sounds like one sweet kick ass Ellky!!! ....I'd love to pick it up for myself, being that it's not too far away from me, but unfortunately, like others here, I don't have the cash. How much is he asking for it? 15Gs??? is it all original? numbers matching? or a clone? either way, it sounds like a nice looking car :D

I think he said somewhere around $20,000 - sounded like a lot to me. It has a crate engine in it so I'm sure it's not numbers matching. The guy is selling cuz he's moving to NY so he could probably be pursuaded to sell cheaper...don't know if that much cheaper though. The thing that got me the most about it was the aluminum gas tank sitting right up against the back of the cab on the bed and the smoothed, welded tailgate!

It's a lot of cash though.

--rO Too much for my blood tongue.gif ...with that amount of money, I could get my 71 Velle looking and running a lot better ;)
