Ok here is my problem. I am dealing with a car that has been in the family since '72 and been restored a few times but never frame off. The rear body mount sheet metal on the Left side has totally rusted out. So that corner of the body was sitting on the frame. I attached a picture of the spot. Does anyone of a place that might sell a replacement panel for this area. It is hard to tell without seeing a assembly manual of the car whether the trunk/body piece they sell is the right one or not. The car needs a lot of sheet metal work but because it has been in my family so long I would love to fix it. This thing is going to be a big task since my dad was one of those old hotrodders he evne hung a clutch pedal in the car and cut a hole in the hump for a shifter. lol

I'm certainly not the most experienced in this matter, but have you checked out Year-One's website? I'm looking through my catalog right now. I can't tell for sure what part you're after (I'm more into the '66 cars), but I'm sure you could phone them and they could help you out.
Hope this helps.

The picture you are showing is the trunk brace body mount. They are easy to get. I got mine from NPD. They have the heavy duty ones. I bought one from Paddock and it was cheaper made and not as thick. I'd tell you to go to my website and look, but I have not updated that portion yet.
That is the outer trunk brace. It comes with the cage nut inside it also.
Good luck, If you need anymore info or pics or anything to do with this area, please e-mail me. I just completed this whole area today. I painted it yesterday.

The 4x4 and blocks were to get the car off the frame. It has since been lowered down to the ground while I finish building my rotisery. (spelt wrong) LOL Thanks for the help everone I was going ot make it myself but if the parts are out there it would be better to go that route IMO.

how are you moving the frame around I took 4 pieces of 3/4 althread 20" long and welded casters on one end and put a nut lower on the threads. Then stuck them up threw holes at each corner of the side rails and bolted fast with a top nut. Move it anywhere. Raise and lower different angles for working on. Good luck with it.
