Can anyone help me out with removing the front fenders? I want to take them off before i drop the engine and transmission.

michael n mississippi Sep 5th, 04, 10:34 PM if you are refering to both front fenders with gril area(front cap). open doors you will find a bolt on each side remove them paying attention to how many shims are under each bolt. then you have 1 bolt on each side on firewall.then remove radiator hoses. remove bolt holding wireharness. unplug harness.remove bolt from each side of radiator support. look under wheelwell you will see 2 bolts on each side with large washers on them they need to be removed also. get help it will be very heavy with hood and such still attached. dmiles21 Sep 6th, 04, 10:07 AM Ive already took the hood off and got the grille off. Ive also got the wheelwell off on both sides. My problem is the two bolts on the bottom close to the door. I got the 1st one out but the one closet to the door i cant get to. Havent removed radiator hoses and wireharness but ive removed all the other bolts. flywheel Sep 6th, 04, 11:52 AM May have to cut the head off those bolts.They can really be rust in there.Or, the nut will just spin with the bolt sometimes. They had a nut on them which turned but you couldnt get to it. Luckily the fender slid out. | ||
