Can you guys give me some info on a Tall deck 427?? What makes this a Tall deck??? Are they any good for Hot Rod Build ups? Any specialty parts I'm going to need to build this up?

The deck height it 4/10 of an inch taller. you will need longer rods, a specific intake, or spacers, and a distributor to fit.

I,M also doing the TALL DECK 427 , am having a local speed shop do the short block with the 6.135 longer rods and car pistons and a set of oval port car heads with the .040 spacers to be able too use the car intake and distributer, probably headers , a drag motor , so don't want a fancy #'S type block , just a solid bottom . mark
