I was taken my steering wheel off to fix the loose turn signal lever, but I can't put it back on becuase the hole is stripped. Does anyone know what the part is called that the turn signal lever mounts to in a 65 floor shift w/o tilt?

sounds like you need a t/s switch.

Could you salvage it by using a self tapping screw one size larger? Consider a metric size,too.
