Is anyone out there using flexible hose for the trans fluid supply and return lines? Any drawbacks to do this or are hard lines the way to go. I'm installing a 350TH in my '67 Malibu (daily driver). :D

when you say " flexible hoses" I assume you mean black 3/8 in high prasure hose... I use it sparinly. prefer to run steel lines from the trans to the rad area and then just a short jumper to the cooler fiting.
all the re pop line co's have pre bent lines that will bolt right up, from your trans to rad

If you are refering to braided steel, that is what Jasper supplies with there trans installation kits.

Bill,
I am running the reinforced steel braided rubber hose for my tranny cooler lines. It's actually aircraft high pressure hydraulic hose. I purchased the hose at Oil Filter Service Co. in Portland. Runs about $6.25/ft. If you wanted to check it out, I will be at the Aces NW Regional in Graham Aug 22. There is another Oregon Club member who has the same lines, and has been running them for years. He should be there also.

Yes, I was thinking SS Flex hose. I guess I could reuse the existing PG tubing. Are the PG and TH350 cooling lines the same ID?

I am running stainless steel #6 braided line for my cooler. I got it from a semi truck supply store that is next to where I work. I got a good deal on it since my work does alot of business with them.
