I'm pretty sure the shorties weren't an option in 68. Anybody know if 69 mouldings will fit my 68. I'd rather just buy some shorties than cut down a set of the long ones.

So what say you?

Yes Tim they will fit however may not look right without whole 69 grill. No shorties avail in 68.

Thanks, that's what I thought. What is the difference between 68/9 mouldings? Are they shaped differently? They basicly look the same to me in pictures. There's no going back to the long mouldings unless I drill some holes. Not gonna do that.

the 68 300 model had short mouldings.

Let me rephrase. No shorties available repop for 68. The 69 models have a very different looking molding attached for the grill extension I beleive. May be a way to seperate them.

Maybe I'll just put a 69 grill assembly on my 68. But then again, I sorta like the polished look of the 68 grill. Think I'll just get some re-pop long mouldings and cut them down.
