I was doing some reading on previous posts and alot of people say the lower fender patch is of very poor quality. My passenger lower fender is toast in the back and i was looking at the fender patch for a good fix. Should i invest the 30+ dollars in it or not? Or should i try and fix it. (someone previously tried to fix it too)

this is for a 69 Thanks guys

The fender patch that I got from Goodmark for a 66 was good quaility. It does not come with the back side brace. You will have to fabricate that if needed.

Tom,
I have Goodmark patch panels in mine.
I think I spent $250 to have both sides done + the patch. One side had to have the inner brace rebuilt. But now you cannot tell either one was welded on.

If you can find one that don't need any work, you can resell yours.

But after the work you put into the trunk, I bet you could do the fender.

I recently bought one from NPD that was excellent.

All of these available patch panels will need some trimming and fitting to make them usable, The keys to success seem to be use only what you need-don't try to install the whole patch. JMO
