I'm scratching me head with this new shifter. While installing, instructions discuss putting in all the way into 1st, then back up to park as part of the calibration. However, it has 7 different points of travel . .almost like it's for a 4 speed auto and not a 3 speed. ANy thoughts?

is it designed for a 4-speed auto? If it is designed for a 3 speed, maybe there is some type of stop for the very first point of travel(very bottom furthest from park) I have an older star shifer on my 3spd TH350, i'll see if i can dig up the manual and see what it says.

I'm pretty sure only the Hammer and Megashifter even work with 4 speeds.
It might have a double long park position to allow calibration.
I would get it to where it goes into low and then adjust it until it will go into park also, thats what we did for my megashifter.
