Hi guys. I was just wondering about something. Earlier in the summer I was driving through southern Illinois from St. Louis to Chicago using I-55. Along the way I noticed a BUNCH of classic car dealers (mostly it looked like project classics....exactly what I want to look for in the next coupla months. :D ). I wrote their names and phone numbers down, but I dont remember what I did with the list.
Do any of you live in the area or do any of you know of those dealers?
Thanks in advance.

One of them is probably Country Classic Cars in Staunton:

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I need to clarify some terminology.I55 from St. Louis to Chicago doesn't run through southern Illinois. It runs through Western, Central and Northern Illinois ;) ;)

Sorry my bad.....I grew up in Chicago so anything south of there gets classified as Southern. smile.gif
You are correct 1968, I-55 does indeed run through south westen Illinois. Sorry bout the mixup!
rlchv 70 thanks for the link!!! How did you find it? What would be a good search subject for this in Google?
Thanks again

I grew up near Litchfield, and my parents still live there. I knew it was located in Staunton, which is about 15 minutes from Litchfield. So, I just looked up "classic cars in Staunton, IL" on yahoo.com.
There is also a place just south of Springfield. They have maybe a dozen cars. However, every time I stop there the cars that they have shouldn't be considered more than parts cars and are outrageously overpriced.

Rick Good thing you clarified that. I thought any south of Joliet was southern Il. :D
Anyway, I think there is another place north of there too. If I recall it's something like Bob's classics.
