I need to get my tach repaired. It works intermittently and gives the wrong reading when it does work. I would like some feedback on repair shops that people have been happy with. I don't need any work done on the face, thanks.

I had my cluster (including tach and speedometer) repaired at Clock Doc in Monteagle, TN. After about 5,000 miles, the speedometer crapped out. I had another cluster laying around, so I sent this one to American Classic in Uxbridge, MA. They charge more than Clock Doc, but I figured OK, maybe they will do a better job. When they sent my repaired cluster back to me, it was postmarked...you guessed it...Monteagle, TN. It is quite obvious that American Classic sublets gauge cluster repair out to Clock Doc, and markes it up about 25%, so save your money and send it directly to Clock Doc. Or even better, find someone else altogether, because the speedometer in my 2nd cluster is now beginning to act just like the first one they "repaired".

Excellent work, good people, reasonable turn-around.
