How do these look on the car? I like the authenticity of the originals, but there is not a lot of chioce when it comes to 14" tires

It is a secret that can only be uncovered in the "Wheels & Tires" forum. ;)

OK, in short Wheel Vintiques and a few others offer them and we have buds running them. My opinion is that they look great. The only issue is that the color does not seem to be correct as they are all black, as opposed to the dark grey color.

Also, no trim rings for 15x10 wheels, so if you go x10 in the rear your trim ring will be for a x8 and there will ba a larger gap between ring and wheel.

I like them but I would repaint if you want them to look color correct (unless they changed it already and I did not notice) and go with x8's to keep the gap between ring and wheel even. graemlins/beers.gif graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I've got the 8" repo's on my rear tires, they look identical to my stock front tires, only wider. I like them. Can't tell any difference in color, but then again my fronts might be 14" repo's.

I have 15x10 repro. SS wheels on the rear of my car... I love how they look. http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/RacnJsn95/71now.jpg
It's not a very good example, but it gives you an idea... Actually there is a place that DOES make trim rings for the 15x10... They are 19.99 each, I just haven't gotten around to buying them yet! I'll have to dig through my stuff and find out where to get them... The only thing I don't like about the wheels is that they are VERY HEAVY! One of my 14x7 original SS wheels weighs less than 20 lbs with tire... The 15x10 weighs ALMOST 70lbs with tire!!! That's a lot of extra rotating mass that you have to get moving... I've noticed differences of up to .3 of a second between the two.
