in the first couple of pages they have vin numbers and productuion info etc...
can someone look up 1D36... and tell me what it says about what model it is etc...

It's a 2000 Year One catalog, but I suspect the info is the same so........

1 = Chevrolet
D = Malibu, Custom El Camino, Concours
36 = 4 door station wagon, 2 seat

This is for 1972 models.
